How to make Wholegrain Mustard

Back in 1970, here at Tracklements we made the UK’s first wholegrain mustard. The first batch, as you may well know, was made in a coffee grinder and to a recipe which William, our founder, found in John Evelyn’s diary. Not only do we now grow our own mustard seed (with some help from a farmer!) just 3 miles down the road from us but we also bought a mustard grinder so that we can drink coffee as well as grind mustard. Other than that, our mustard is still made in the same, traditional way to the same artisan recipes that they were over 40 years ago.

You can watch this video to see behind the Tracklements doors and find out exactly how wholegrain mustard is made from the grinding to the time and care that goes into making each and every jar.
