Available until stocks last and made with fresh, English green beans and a hint of chilli, this chutney is the antecedent of piccalilli. The addition of mustard balances the sweetness of the sugar with a deliciously sharp kick. Crunchy in texture and pickley in character, it is simply delicious as an alternative to piccalilli with a pork pie or with cold meats.
Our Consumer Club members described it as "Full of flavour with a sharp bite", and one member declared they "loved the chunks of bean and balance of sweet and sour flavours".
