It’s fair to say, Mark Hix knows his food which is why we’re so pleased he likes this month’s Mustard of the Month!
After 17 years as Chef Director at Caprice Holdings, Mark opened his first restaurant in 2008, the distinguished Hix Oyster & Chop House in Smithfield. He has since opened a further 5 establishments including Hix Oyster & Fish House in Lyme Regis and the award-winning Mark’s bar, Tramshed (where Tracklements is the house mustard!) and of course his latest, Hixter all to great critical acclaim.
The celebrated chef, restaurateur and food writer is known for his original take on British gastronomy – he thinks our Horseradish Mustard is excellent when it comes to mackerel and we agree! He said of our Mustard of the Month, Horseradish Mustard:

We also love it on beef and have a delicious recipe using it in a Beef & Beer Casserole with Mustard Dumplings!
