Pancakes with Vanilla Ice Cream, Bramley Apple Sauce and Shortbread Crumble Pieces

Cooking Directions

In a large mixing bowl combine the flour, eggs, oil and salt. Add the milk little by little whisking all the time until the batter is smooth.

Heat a little oil in a large frying pan. Put a small ladle of batter in the pan, move the pan to spread it out into a circle. Cook for around 1 min before flipping and cooking the other side.

Put on a plate. Stir the maple syrup into the Tracklements Bramley Apple Sauce.

On the plate, top the pancake with a large scoop of good quality vanilla ice cream, Bramley Apple Sauce mix and shortbread pieces.




Makes: Roughly 12

  • 100g plain flour
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tbsp sunflower or vegetable oil, plus a little extra for frying
  • pinch salt
  • 300ml milk
  • 2 tbsp maple syrup
  • 8 tbsp Tracklements Bramley Apple Sauce
  • good quality vanilla ice cream
  • shortbread biscuits, crumbled
